As one of the true perfume houses in the world, Guerlain has received God-tier status in the community. With hits like Shalimar and Mademoiselle, Guerlain can do no wrong in our eyes. A holy-grail fragrance within their catalogue is the vintage 1919 formulation of Mitsouko. This classic perfume is considered by many to be their life-long obsession and ultimate signature scent. The oakmoss in the base is also natural and conveys an earthy tone. With this being such a classic, we couldn’t think of a better name for our inspired expression of this masterpiece. For those who have owned the original and are disenchanted over their inability to once again find a bottle, Classic is surely calling your name!

I own a few modern (around 2005) Mitsoukos - EDT, EDP and extrait.
What can I say about DUA’s Classic - AMAZING! I definitely like it better than the originals in my collection. The reason why is, to my nose, the DUA’s Classic has more pronounced and altogether more beautiful flowery notes, jasmin in particular, especially in the beginning, which changes the mood of the fragrance, makes it more uplifting and joyful, rather then contemplative mood of Mitsouko’s I have owned. A must try for lovers of classic chypres.
