This is seriously good. I’ve never tried the original, so giving my opinion of Heritage as a standalone fragrance.
It beats all Montale/Mancera offerings easily, it beats Guerlain’s Orientals, etc, even my favourite so far Nawab of Oudh comes second after this Heritage juice, in my opinion.
Why? The oud notes here are smooth and not screeching my nose in the first 1-2 hours as most of ouds do. The multitudes of notes in this composition are blended so well that the result is very smooth yet very distinct. The scent is very beautiful, addictive and classy. I would say it is unisex leaning towards women’s, so inoffensive it is (inoffensive oud? Yes!). I am trying to stop myself from ordering the second bottle as a backup. Please, keep making it!
