DUA FRAGRANCES Opus Amber
Absolute ingredients have a reputation in the perfume industry for being highly concentrated and exceedingly aromatic. If the name were any indication, Tom Ford’s Amber Absolute is both of those things and more. While the unapologetic presence of the fragrance may have contributed to its hiatus, the fragrance can once more be enjoyed in all its opulence and richness. What’s more, Dua Fragrances has perfected yet another inspired expression, and as usual, it’s available at an unbeatable price! Opus Amber is a holy-grail amber fragrance for lovers of the ancient resin. Smoky frankincense paves the way for a balsamic finish, and variations of vanilla add an intoxicating touch. Supplies are limited, so make sure to grab yourself a bottle while you still can!

Very woody/leathery like walking into a nice new log cabin, just a touch of warm amber. If a holiday cottage smelt like this as I walked in, I would be impressed at the quality of wood and leather. Not really feminine to my mind though.
Re-tried after maceration - more blended, but definitely smells like a leather scent to me, softened a bit by woods and maybe vanilla. Nicely done but leans masculine to my nose.
Ed to add, after a few weeks the amberyness really ratchets up, and it becomes smoother, richer, less wood and leather and more a general ambery perfume with hints of leather, much more unisex
