Vanille Overload is a fragrance inspired by the legendary Spiritueuse Double Vanille from Guerlain, known for its opulent and unique take on vanilla. Guerlain has masterfully combined the richness of vanilla with balsamic resins and incense, setting it apart from more traditional gourmand vanilla fragrances.

This luxurious blend captures the essence of vanilla with unparalleled depth and complexity. The vanilla note takes center stage, casting a gourmand shadow over the other ingredients, creating an addictive and captivating aroma. It's a fragrance that exudes richness and sophistication, reminiscent of exotic spirit-bearing casks and the allure of the East.

Vanille Overload is adorned with additional layers of complexity, including the delicate spiciness of pink pepper and hints of beautiful floral notes that occasionally emerge through the vanillic tapestry. The fragrance is a true masterpiece for vanilla enthusiasts, offering a heavenly and delicious scent that can be enjoyed on any occasion.

If you're a fan of vanilla and appreciate fragrances that stand out with their complexity and charm, Vanille Overload is the perfect choice. It captures the essence of one of the most iconic perfumes in the world, allowing you to enjoy its richness and sophistication every day.

Smoky vanilla

Similar to the original, but less vanilla and more smoky, like a hint of bonfire?!
The original is sweet vanilla with a hint of sharpness from bergamot and some gentle spices. The Dua version is smokey like a smokey peat whisky. Pleasant, but not a substitute for Double Vanille!
Alexandra Short is actually closer yo Double Vanille to my mind.

I shall let it macerate and re-assess

Ed to add, the smokeyness never away, and gets comments a lot (people sniffing and asking where the bonfire is in puzzled voices!) But the vanilla is sooo deep and luscious. I love it, but it's not suitable for enclosed spaces with other people :D
